I havent been blogging recently as i have been digesting the recent developments at home since the general elections on March 8. Hey guess what theres hope for the country yet I guess people in Lah Lah land finally woke up and spoke in a very clear and unmistakeable way .The result is five state fell to the opposition and the ruling coalition lost its 2/3 majority.
For once race didnt matter and we voted together on issues . Whats more people were really fed up and rose up to make changes at the ballot box. i hope this means a more equitable sharing of resources in the opposition run states. As the new state governments are sworn in ,expectations are high and the air seems to be fresh.
We are waiting with anticipation to see how the new state governments carry out the people's mandate.
Is this the start of two party elections? Dont know still too early to tell.
